WHAT DOES YOUR SCHOOL NURSE DO?
The National Association of School Nurses defines school nursing as:
A specialized practice of professional nursing that advances the well-being, academic success, and life-long achievement of students. To that end, school nurses facilitate positive student responses to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual and potential health problems; provide case management services; and, actively collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation, self-management, self-advocacy, and learning.

Announcements
4/6/2018 - Many students are needing their immunization records for dual credit classes or for college applications. The record can be accessed via the parent's Skyward account or in the clinic. If possible, please email the nurse ahead of time to request a shot record so it can be ready when your student comes in. If they have gotten any boosters since 7th grade, these will only be entered into their record if the documentation has been provided to the clinic. If their record seems to be missing something, please call and ask to speak to the nurse!
